My mom lived on the base around 1945 when she was 9 yrs old because her dad (my grandfather) was stationed on the base. Her mom (my grandmother) had a part-time job working in the commissary. My mom remembers German POWs setting up the furniture when they moved into base housing. She made friends with a little anglo girl who was also living on the base with her parents, and my grandmother taught the little girl's mother how to make tortillas. The base is gone, but I'd like to think that all the people that trained there went on to do good things throughout their life.

I enjoy using the 75mm APSC on Fujifilm XT5 and its about 112-115 Equivalent Full Frame and I love the style of shots you can frame with it specially for cars!

Man your videos are definitely really well done and informative with the right amount of balance for beginners and professionals who might be coming in from a different disciple. For me coming from Fashion and portrait photography were off camera flash is king this definitely helped me realise lighting an interior uses the same principles youd use for lighting garments

Congrats! It's one thing to get a bunch of photos that look nice on instagram or even sells to companies but it's really something else to have an artistic vision and bring it to a collection.

Amazing photography. Love the idea of the interplay between the car and shadow. Can you expand on why the borders of the pics are so large? Why have a large book if the pictures are half the size of the page? I have many coffee table type car books and always like looking at the large pictures. We are so used to looking at tiny pics on our phones. Big photography books are different. The large photos are a major part of what make coffee table books so impactful.

I got my first media accreditation at the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hour race, I was 17. I completely agree with you. But I think as young photographers, we shouldn't see accreditations like THE achievement of our career... It takes nothing from a race organiser to give you a media pass. I really think the thing we should focus on is how to sell pictures, this is an achievement to me.

As much as I want to argue against this, I've mostly been shooting with a digital rangefinder lately. Not necessarily for car photography lately, but I do see your point.

I’m on my 4th 4x4!🤣 It’s a Twinair (Mk4) and I love it. Previously owned a Mk3 and loved that too. Before that, a 4x4 Sisley with the fun gauges that warn you’re about to tip over just before you do. And the very first was the original 4x4 with removable deckchair seats. The original design was just so clever + functional, cute + chunky. Loved ‘em all
